Welcome to the Web site of Paso del Norte American Legion Post #58, one of the largest membership posts in Texas and a proud member of the 16th District. As our preamble to the Constitution states we are committed to the Community, State and Nation. In the Community we support our veterans in need through various means both direct and indirect, we also support the Boy Scouts of America Troop 213, area ROTC programs both at the Collegiate and High School level, and through the Boys State Program and Oratorical Contest. At the State level we are proud to support the initiatives of the Department of Texas, particularly their scholarship program.
We also have several officers who serve at the District Level and are involved in both State and National American Legion committees and commissions. Our success in our ability to support all we do depends largely on our members. Post #58 has a very successful Post Home that offers not only a members lounge, but an excellent food service program also. We feature many entertainment events and host BINGO operations three times a week. Our hall is also available for private parties and our staff stands ready to serve your every need. Please take the time to browse our Web site and get involved in YOUR American Legion. Together we can do much to make the American Legion the best organization it can be.

For God and Country we associate ourselves together for the following purposes:
To uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America; to maintain law and order; to foster and perpetuate a one hundred percent Americanism; to preserve the memories and incidents of our associations in the Great Wars; to inculcate a sense of individual obligation to the community, state and nation; to combat the autocracy of both the classes and the masses; to make right the master of might; to promote peace and goodwill on earth; to safeguard and transmit to posterity the principles of justice, freedom and democracy; to consecrate and sanctify our comradeship by our devotion to mutual helpfulness
